the hunter

lonely

vulnerable

edible

She on many occasions

felt an entanglement

of her own physicality

No matter how much

knowledge acquired,

philosophy believed in,

a mans world stuck in her head

and not the James Browns version.

    Love the photo, PD. When I was growing up in the Philippines, Mom used to boil the octopus for a few minutes, chopped it up into small bite-size pieces, mix them with chopped tomato, chopped onions, chopped parsley, and seasoned with fish sauce (the Thai variety, which is very good), chill a bit then eat with rice!       my daughter too is a big fan of squid n octopus dishes. the photo is from when we first made a fresh squid n tomato sauce for pasta. she was about 8 years old. anything sea food she has always loved. anyway. always good to hear from you. wishing you both nothing but the best!
