I was a Soldier for almost 15 years. A division of soldiers are not the tools of peace. They are the tools of war. Want peace. Send food, water and medicine. Not guns and bullets.

15 years sounds like a long time, probably felt like forever.. when i was in high school i remember going down to library park to join the peace protests re the vietman war. in the beginning we were wanting peace to save all lives. then it seemed to switch to blame the American soldiers. at that point i stopped going. see peace is something i think everyone deserves. i had no problem blaming out government, but i couldn’t blame guys my age who had to registrar for the draft and ended up being in country rather than at woodstock. myself i was 18 and of the last group to register. and i was thinking what will i do? will i go? will i run? my dad was usmc ww2 pacific… so i thought on my way back from the post office i ‘d have to go. i’d be scared but it be worth trying to survive to impress my dad . I bet there were many a kid who felt like that,. as it turned out there were no more call ups after that. maybe i am naive but i figure the majority of people would rather be home than fighting a war and they certainly deserve peace too. anyway sorry for the meandering response, but you struck a chord. thanks for the read n comments. be well & peaceful

No-one wanted war. The draft made men soldiers during the Vietnam era. People forget the cost of war. People who were against war. Were right. What did the USA do in Vietnam? Thank you for your thoughts on a hard subject.
