Loretta’s Piece
(12.09.73.)

Rose was first thought
remembering was coming
but put back almost worn out.

In 2018, The Wall That Heals visited 38 communities in 26 states to spread The Wall’s healing legacy to more than 400,000 visitors, including 35,000 Vietnam veterans. Guided tours of the exhibit were provided to nearly 21,000 students.

ever onward let me go
ever onward let me go home

this world of lamentation
these buds of easy bloom

you don’t know where
but i’ll find my way

so let me go
