on todays tray – american guns children constitution wtf & coffee

So, it’s kind of like the Bible in that it is set in stone? And where it says weapons for all that’s just what you worship? However, this is an interpretation that you worship right? Something you have decided is set in stone no matter how much suffering is caused.

Shouldn’t a government for the people assess how much damage is being done to the life liberty and pursuit of happiness that the weapons for all approach has wrought? Shouldn’t an approach that for example doesn’t care how many children are murdered be revisited? Shouldn’t the people of this government demand it? Since when did the Constitution become a religious idol to be worshiped?

So even if we say fine the problem isn’t guns its people. Shouldn’t the people then participate in a federal background check which is updated regularly, an education and licencing program as well an insurance program? How would you all feel if the auto industry was free to sell cars to whoever wanted and could afford them and there was no requirement for drivers licence or insurance?

Never mind the piece of paper doesn’t mention cars. How about what kind of people sacrifice their kids to a piece of paper as interpreted by those who are at best corporate hacks at worse just don’t care how many children are murdered.

If you can’t figure out a way to better care for your electorate and the children of this whole country then you need to be replaced by someone who would at least be willing to try. To say that because the constitution says this is the way it should be and there fore there’s not an issue to be resolved. Should be a firing offence

My thought:

This is not a gun or a persons problem

It is a social problem.

If you tolerate this nothing can be done approach

You too are complicit

Look up the numbers of the dead and wounded the numbers might astound you

Look up the numbers of those traumatised – will you even find a number?

Think about how this will impact the society you live in?

The fact that the United States of America cannot find a better way is true tragedy

Here’s a mortal sin for you – the constitution was never meant to be set in stone. It was meant to evolve.

we can also intend to have a society free from slaughter.

the choice is to do nothing or to do something about this problem. the Florida students have inspired the most activity and attention to this issue in decades. there is a big problem with gun death in America. it needs to be addressed. the first step is acknowledging that the current situation is not healthy. that doing nothing about it will not help. and for those who say that law changes would not prevent more deaths or past deaths – that is the lamest argument of all. since murders aren’t prevented by law should we strike the law from the books? a law is a statement of intent. the intentions of a society are framed in law. we intend to have a society free from murder. we can also intend to have a society free from slaughter.

Smash the fuckin’ TV walk barefoot in the snow

Pierce ourselves with steel

Chew tequila worms ‘til the hand of god wipes our mouths

Piss wherever, say whatever fuck whoever

Fearless with the night of any street of any place

And no Thelma and Louise

We don’t die

Don’t even get caught

We hide

Disguised as geriatric cunts

Happy enough to sleep now

Two ends of the same rope coiling

Richly deserved pools of never never land

Surrender only to each other

 Our Peter Pan tongues.

Crazy teenage slut
She wasn’t really the pretty sort but she wasn’t all that bad.
She wasn’t really very smart you might-a called her dumb.
But she was great for givin’ head and if you treated her just right
She’d fuck your friends as well.
And somehow she didn’t mind it,
All those guys that loved her all those nights,
Even though they’d just look right through her in the school day light.
Yeah some how she didn’t mind it she made it be alright
And every boy that loved her grew up to be a man.
And every man one of them married other girls,
The kinda girls that wouldn’t care about her even if they knew.
And maybe she still thinks about it, maybe years go by.
And maybe she hears about them, their new lives and their wives.
And maybe she goes out and gets herself a gun,
She seen it on TV, she knows it can be done.
Finds out where they live, where they work, where they go to church.
And you know there’s nothing to it, just knock at the door, an appointment at four, a seat on the aisle.
Just give em a smile. Just say hello. Just see what they say.
And later in the court room with all the visits done
Tell the judge “I’m sorry for all those things I done.
Sorry for them guys and for their families. But wasn’t it just like they said
Too stupid to even be a whore; just a crazy teen age slut?
So you see it is insanity your honour not no murder one.
I was and still am crazy that’s what each one said…”
And maybe she still thinks about it
Maybe years go by.

space one size fits all

no matter how much stuff, law, guns, money, strength you have – your fear will still run you. the courage to erase fear begins with space, the more space you give your self, the more space you give to others so they can be themselves. Space to relax, feel, do nothing, do something etc. space one size fits all – each and everyone of us. we have an abundance of mind space – the more we allow for ourselves and others, the less fear. the less fear the less suffering. if we are not afraid of losing our selves we can allow the possibility that the universe hold us all even those who disagree with us.
